We have been wondering for the past I don't know how many years ..
How do all these people afford brand new houses, brand new cars, nice clothes and all the fluff...
We wondered what are we doing wrong, he has a really good job for our area, we do with out alot of extra fluff... We have a comfortable life style and we really don't want for much, actually we want for nothing, because we are pretty easy to please... Our cars are older, we do have a new house, but we lived well below our means for a long time to afford it ...I shop second hand for most of ours and Rylans stuff....
So anyways we always wondered how everyone else did it ........
and now we know, lots and lots of credit cards, and bad loans ...
We got to looking at the 401k last night and realized we have lost enough in the past 6 months or so that we could of paid off all our debt and owned a house free and clear..yesterday we lost $12,000.00 in one day...
Stupid lenders and people who don't know what they can afford ugh...

LaDawn, Butch and I had wondered that for years. In fact, 16 years ago when we moved down here, we had agents telling us we could afford a lot more than we were prepared to spend for our new home in Florida. But we knew what we were comfortable with.
Yesterday, he looked at me and said, "Well, I guess we know how people have been affording all these huge new homes...."
