Easter Day

we went to Randys moms for Easter Randy wanted to watch Rylan hunt for eggs at his childhood home so we did ...it was great fun for Rylan and Andrew and a quiet peaceful day ..Mindi had spent the night before with us and colored eggs ..so even though things feel very diffrent in my family these days I was still able to make it fun for Rylan he was very happy the Easter bunny knew his favorite color is blue and got him a blue basket ...Andrew is doing good on our new eating plan and other than that its just things as usual around here...my worms are doing good and we bought a rototiller today. I have big dreams for my garden this year ..

Day before Easter

well not anything going on for us...Randy took Rylan rollarskating and I stayed home to boil eggs and clean the house a little without Rylan and half the neighborhood kids here or knocking at the door every 5 minutes ...Later we are going to color eggs and have a little hunt in the yard...we did a hunt last weekend but it wad rainy windy cold and not real fun ...the kids had fun but I froze my butt off ...
   This is the first Easter in about 30 years we had no plans for Easter :-(

Evening update : Mindi came over to color eggs with us yeah it was nice spending time with all 3 kiddos

Easter 2009

Easter weekend was so busy and so fun
Saturday we went to the egg hunt in town where Rylan got to see the Easter bunny he wasn't to sure about him though LOL
Then we went to another part of the park where the Seventh Day Adventist were putting on a event called Messiah's Mansion it was a recreation of Moses most Holy temple he built in the wilderness and how the sacrifices were done and what different colors represent ...It was really very interesting, I am glad we went to it ....

WE then went to a Easter party at my friend Joanna's house, there was a egg hunt for the kids then egg coloring, then a egg hunt for the grown ups... we had to answered bible questions to get clues before we could move on to the next egg the eggs were numbered it was very fun, the men against the women...The women won LOL then we had a really nice barbeque of hamburgers and hot dogs....Rylan had a blast with all the kids It was really a great time ...
Then Sunday we actually made it to church and there was a egg hunt after church then off to Grandma Jessies for lunch and another egg hunt on this hunt he was on his own all his cousins on this side of the family are grown enjoy the pictures..OH and we forgot his coat and shoes when we went to Grandma Jessie's house thats why he is wearing her sweatshirt and his slippers ...
