Oh my Gosh the kids will be talking about this one for years....Rylans party if you haven't guessed already was pirate themed ........... Spent Sunday recuperating from all the fun .Lets see, To the music of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Swashbuckling Sea Songs.
The kids had to walk the plank when they arrived in order to be real pirates
they then donned their pirate hats, telescopes, eye patches, red sashes and tattoos and set off for a treasure hunt the girls against the boys 9 hidden cluse the had to follow heres the list of clues each team had
Boys team
1 A pirates life is hard and dirty ,Clean up here if you’re a birdy.
2 Me heartys I know it’s a ship that ye sail, but when you’re a land lubber and a small car you drive needs some fixin. This is the place ye would take her for repairs.
3 Times a wastin and yer not half there. But if atlast ye find tresure ye might rest in this long chair.
4 Arrrgggg me hearty’s, keep moving fast. Your next clue be hidden by a green snake in the grass.
5 We’ve just begun, keep up if your able. Your next clue is hidden in the _ _ _ _ table.
6 Arrrrrrggggg me buckeneers. Thar be a post what is close to a shed. From that thar post count 11 pegs to the south then look about for ye next clue.
7 Look sharp ye blokes. If when ye walk the plank and your foot falls amiss. You’ll end up as food for all of the _ _ _ _.
8 Ahoy… on the bow ye scurvy dogs. Thar be a mammal whats got a secret to whar the treasure be hidden.
9 The treasure be hidden but hid in plain sight. Just be aware when the timings just right. But if ye think ye know where the treasure be at, just keep it a secret till pirate Rylans’s mom ask.

4 Thars a post in the corner, you’ll have to look sharp. It’s close to a piece of ole green tarp. From the post you count your way north 8 o these pegs. Thar your clue will be close so move them legs.
5 Ayyyye, In a ship ye be sailin, It’ll take ye real far, but in modern days ya might drive in a little red _ _ _.
6 If yeve gotten this far then you may not fail. Your next clue be hidden in a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

I painted two ice chests to look like treasure chest one with nothing but a brick in it set up where we did the tattoos of course the kid wanted to know what was in it so I showed them it was just a brick nad there for decorations ...The plan was that Randy would start the kids off in the other yard and I would switch out the chests while he was doing that . The hunt was great fun then we had sloppy joes carrots and chips with yummy punch... Rylan blew out his candles and we opend presents he was a real ham and loved everybody's gift he is getting a john deer tractor next week .. we had bought him a little quad but her was to big so we took it back and ordered the one that coming next week............
