So that didn't work so well...

Last night I awoke to Ryaln saying something about something eat at MIDNIGHT !!...I mumbled ok in my sleep and rolled over ....thought for a minute.opened my eyes and yep the kitchen light was on ..... flew out of bed and he was just getting ready to microwave a flour tortilla ......R
Reminds on the first microwave I got for Christmas one year from my Dad... Andrew must of been about 4 and got up real early one morning and decided to cook a box a fish food I woke up to a house filled with smoke yelled to Randy that the house was on fire and took off to get the kids, of course Andrew wasn't in bed he was watching his fish food burning up...

Randy is going to have to pick up a lock on his way home... this just isn't safe and the Kid is a dang night owl ..I am going to wake his butt up a little earlier today!!!

Things that go bump in the night ....

Things or people like little boys that should be in bed asleep !!!!!!!!
So I woke up Thursday night at about 1 in the morning noticed the lights were on and Rylan was not in bed looked around the house ..when I say the lights were on I mean EVERY light in the house even the closet lights. I have no idea how long he had been up, but I found him in Randys room on my side of the bed (well what used to be my side before I started sleeping in Rylan room to try and get him to sleep on his own )on the floor with our huge flashlight that he found in the closet.. he said something to the effect that he needed some light LOL ...Back to bed we went with the huge flashlight, it didn't have much charge thank goodness, because it gets hot enough that it could burn someone or maybe even start a fire Yikes....
None of the other kids were quite the explorer Rylan is ...its scary ...the week before Andrew was staying and Rylan waited till I feel asleep to sneak out (he tried like three times and I caught him LOL)and play Nintendo with Andrew I just about had a heart attack when I couldn't find him at first ..turns out he took Andrews mattress and Andrew was on the floor and all I seen was blankets, Andrew was completely covered and Rylan was hanging out just a bit so I had to turn on the lights to see that it was him...This kid is a sneaky one !!!!!!!!!!!

Peas and Carrots

I honestly love that me and Randy do every thing together...But I do NOT love it when he has to outdo me LOL....... Turns out his sleep apnea is worse than mine, can you believe that ...I stop breathing and average of 88 times and hour that's call my AHI ... Randy or maybe who I should call Mr. Show off has a AHI of 104 times an hour ...Yeah while I have been laying around feeling like I was on deaths door for the past 6 months ...Mr.Tough guy has been going to work 10 hours a day staying up playing his game all night on the weekends ...and never complains about being tired... Hows that for a M-A-N !!!!!
In my defense, I never complained about being tired untill I knew I had apnea... My complaints was that I just couldn't breath all summer... Today will be my first day off prenizone since a couple of days before Thanksgiving...I hope my breathing continues to be ok I am still on the advair so time will tell... I know for sure I am not as tired as I was..
This CPAP is AMAZING sure its not wonderful putting it on at night, but the way I feel during the day is so different than any way I have ever felt ...at least I really don't remember feeling this good before, except for the first 2 weeks after I had Mindi. I remember I felt really good at that time, then after we found out she was a very sick little baby the tiredness started but I had many sleepless nights either spending them in hospital waiting rooms or just worrying all night long.So I figured it was just stress, you know...
SOOOOOOOOOOOO fast forward 26 years and here I am, still tired, believing I am just a tired lazy kind of person.... I didn't realize how a person should feel and that tired like I was tired was not normal...
For heaven sakes I was gauging it somewhat against Randy and since he is worse than me I felt like we were normal LOL.. Its hard watching life go by and you think wow I would like to do that, whatever that is, and then your just to tired to follow through...Or not being able to really make plans for anything because you may be to tired when the day comes...
I am really excited to see how Randy feels in a couple of days... I really feel our lives are going to be changing so much for the better and I am excited about it ...
Did I mention that we bought a Motorhome a couple of weeks ago :-) I will post about it soon, we are really looking forward to lots of activities this summer ...

Randy was called in to have his sleep lab testing done early ... So he went in last night........ turns out he has sleep apnea too ..
I thought so...
He will be getting his CPAP machine probably by the end of the week :-)

I love Painting

I have started painting the living room and I LOVE the color I choose ...I was only able to paint two walls today and will take the next 2 days off Mindi, Rylan and I are going to go see the Michael Jackson movie called 'This Is It'...Randy has to work Saturday and I think we are just going to relax around the house on Sunday :-)

Hearts and such..

I missed posting yesterday was too too tired last night ...

My dad was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night by ambulance, because of high blood pressure he has been having some problems with his heart and was going to have 2 valves replaces after a cardiac cath on the 12th ..he had been having some dizzy spells and did a stress test about a week ago he heart rate didn't change on the stress test which is not good ...Anyways they was talk about what to do and the docs decided that maybe they would put in a pacemaker on the 12 instead of the cardiac cath and took him off one of his medications in preparation and I guess his heart did not like that and started rebelling so he had his pacemaker put in yesterday..He is doing fine and should go home today ....

Yesterday was also Randy's birthday I made him spaghetti and salad,french bread and brownies for dessert...

I finished painting the bathroom in the morning and I really like it I will be posting pictures later ...

After I finished painting I headed up to the cemetery to plant some daffodils I only planted around our plots and a few on the path to our plots I have about 20 more bulbs I need to plant up there so maybe this weekend I wll get it done..

Mindi and I have a date to go watch the Michael Jackson This is it movie on Saturday and we are taking Rylan he likes watching MJ on TV so hopefully he will like the movie too..Randy will be working :-(

I am having to take a break till the new year on any extra house payments due to having to meet my insurance deductible for my sleep labs and our property taxes.. but come the new year I am going to get back to slamming it we just owe $7200.00 on the first and soon as that's paid we will work on the second with the rent money and what ever we have extra after our bills yeah yeah yeah ...I would also like to buy a travel trailer or motor home but that may have to wait one more year...

Oh and I bought more paint I will start painting the living room tomarrow I am so excited I have hated the color I painted to living room since the day I painted it about 9 years ago :-)

No More Inhailers

I took myself off them I believe I am having a bad reaction to the propellant in them ..I am still having shortness of breath but its better without the inhalers at least for now..I have been taking Ibroprofin for the anti-inflammatory properties ..I am still waiting for my docs to call back after my methocholine test and I have an appointment with a pulmologist at the end of October..
yes my friends even with insurance and not being able to breath, you still have to wait a month for a appointment with a specialist... I will also be getting a sleep test done because I quit breathing while I sleep it called sleep apnea we have recorded it and I have listened to it ..Poor Randy I don't know how he manages to get sleep when I am sleeping in there with him :-( he has probably enjoyed this past year since I have been sleeping with Rylan LOL... The nights are starting to turn cold brrrr we thought about camping out this weekend but are maybe going to change our minds ...I told Randy if we had a nice travel trailer it wouldn't of made any difference what the weather was we could of still went ....
We are still working on paying the house in town off and getting close, so that where money for trailers and fun has gone well there and to doctors and trips to see doctors ...
I am still missing Bruno.. Last night when Randy stopped to get the mail one of our newer neighbors was also getting his mail and Randy introduced himself and had mentioned that we had put our dog to sleep and the neighbor was "Bruno, Bruno's gone" and was saddened by the news.... funny all our neighbors knew and loved Bruno even if they didn't know us ..When I was leaving for town yesterday one of our other neighbors was pulling in the road and stopped to ask how Bruno was she has come down the first day the vet was here and I told her that we had to have him put to sleep she was sad for us and said her grandson just loved Bruno and he called him 'woof' and that Bruno would lay down and watch her grandson play with his cars awe sweet stories of Bru~nee he really was such a good boy we still miss him ...

The Last Portland Medical trip {{Hopefully}}

We had a great trip up... Monday morning we hung around long enough for me to call my doctors as my breathing was getting worse and I wasn't sure if I should even leave home...My doctor prescribed a higher dose of prednizone we stopped at the save on and picked it up then to taco bell so I could take it with food ..Randy bought nachos and ate them while driving yikes he did pretty good though ..I don't like taco bell for driving food its way to messy....... anyways, I popped my preds and by the time we got to Roseburg I was breathing better than I had in a month I could actually feel my lungs opening up.......It felt soooooo good, I told Randy that I was worried I was going to hyperventilate just because I was enjoying breathing so much, it was like taking a drink of the best food or drink you have ever tasted and I just couldn't get enough of it..
For our day we had planned to stopped in Salem and go to the enchanted forest...We had a great time there its a small amusement park, very laid back not overly crowded..Rylan was tall enough to go on all the rides except the log ride...

~~~While we were on out way up we received a call from Randy Aunt we were supposed to stay at their place on night 2 but they had been around her daughter who had been around someone who was exposed to swine flu and the daughter had to be in quarantine and the Aunt was having to take care of the kids and they had already been around them all weekend so to make a long story a bit shorter, we didn't stay there..I told Randy with my breathing problems... I really really didn't want to take a chance getting it and he totally agreed...I have also now decided I will be getting a swine flu vaccine for myself and Rylan... I feel I really have no choice at this point.. I am 99.9% sure if I got that flu I would not survive... my lungs could not handle it and I know my immune system is way down just from the past month..
OK back to the trip ~~~~~
Tuesday was Rylans big test day we were up at 4:30 am I say up but we never really slept... I hate sleeping in motels..Off to taco bell so he could have some food in him by 6:30 am then to the hospital for numbing cream on both hands and feet for his IV ...
we scored two free tram passes and rode the tram first time while waiting for the cream to work it was an hours wait ...then he had to get the IV put in he cried just a little and actually hated the tape the worst...then off the the radioactive dye in the IV, then we went to the zoo for our 4 hour wait for the dye to get all through his kidneys... people were looking at his hand the whole time and one little girl asked why he had that on ...It was a really good choice though, because it kept his mind occupied and off the darn thing ...
About 2 hours after we were at the zoo I stepped off a big step and hurt my leg and had to hobble to the first aid center for ice then back to the car...This was not good I was crippled for the whole trip... I got a ace bandage at the hospital pharmacy and that helped a lot ...
For Rylans test they gave him diprovan {{its he same drug they think killed Michael Jackson ))to knock him out that stuff works quick... we left the room for about 45 minutes while he had his test done then back awake he drank some apple juice and back to the zoo we went, he recovered very quickly, we rode the train and saw lots of fun animals...
After the zoo we decided to get on over to the coasts and find a room or campgrounds for the night ..The drive from Portland to the coast is very beautiful the coastal towns on the north coast are so much better south coast has better weather but the towns aren't nearly as nice.. we stayed in Lincoln city after eating dinner here Chinook winds we wanted to stay in the motel but it was full so we found a nice place down the road ...next morning we were up bright and early to meet my friend Kara and her family at the Newport aquarium for the day ...we then had hot dogs at there place and Rylan had a great time playing with Jo~ellie and Kaylin.. He would of liked to seen her more, but it didn't work out ...
Thursday we went to another aquarium and spent time back at camp playing on the play ground and then campfire with marshmallows and off to bed early...
Friday morning Rylan was done camping first thing he said when he woke up was I want to go home ...Yes I am thinking I have birthed another non~camper...We took off about 9 am and drove the coastal route home .we stopped in Bandon for lunch ..Then Brookings to play in the sand and feed the seagulls the bread ends I had been saving in the freezer for the past year :-) then on home... it felt so good to be back...
We don't have the results from Rylans test back yet I will post when we here the news ...

Lots going on ...

Been so busy since Easter well that and being sickly ...
Lets see Rylan Puked in the car coming home on Easter did I blog about that last time I am not sure ..He also got bit by a small dog it, barley broke the skin but as you can imagine about gave me a heart attack... I was sitting just a few feet away from him too...and didn't notice he was shaking a plastic egg with coins in it that he had found on the egg hunt right in the doggies face ..anyways he is fine ... I am always cautious around dogs but this dog is around kids his age, so I let my guard down a bit more than usual, learned my lesson about that, at Rylans expense I felt so bad ...
I got very sick on that Wednesday ( I think it was) Puking and feeling yucky for the next 4 days ..
My nephew wrecked his bike and ruptured his spleen on this past Sunday and was in critical care till yesterday, he is still in the the hospital now, but may get to come home tomorrow... please keep him in your prayers, that his spleen heals and he gets to keep it ...
I went to the dentist yesterday to have a new temp crown put on the tooth that I just had a crown put on in December it wasn't done right and has be driving me practically insane for the past 4 months... my permanent one will be done May 12th, can't wait ....
I also designed and printed up reminder postcards for our annual cemetery association meeting, finished and mailed them off yesterday..
We are starting the potty training a little more hard core now and made a sticker chart so every time Ryan sits on the potty he will get a awesome sticker from the package aunt chel-dee sent him when he gets 10 in one day he will get a prize..

A Boy and His Grammy !!!

Rylan has decided my mom is Grammy I guess if you think about it it makes since I am mommy.... daddy is daddy...... why not grandma is Grammy ....Silly Boy .....

This morning Randy woke up with something wrong with his eye after Rylan had told hoim to go to the docs and Randy couldn't understand him Rylan got one of my bracelets from when I was in the hospital (He found it somewhere yesterday and told him what it was from) he took it to Randy and put it on his wrist ...How cute was that ....

Palm Pilots Cannot take

A licking and keep on ticking !!!!!! I accidentally put Randys palm Pilot, that I bought him for his birthday last year,
in the washer
I heard something hit the side
as I was putting in his shirt
I pulled it right back up, it was in his pocket.
But it was to late
we let it dry all night
it still don't work aughhhh...

Also My stove has stopped working properly
last night the front big burner wouldn't work,
this morning the back big burner quit,
But the front one is getting warm
A stove is definatly not was I was
saving my money for dang-it...

A day to picnic ....

After a long 3 days of painting
I am taking today off
Its Randy's company picnic
They have fun activity's
The year I was pregnant with Wyatt
right before I lost him
they had a gambling tent set up
with lots of vegas style games
you won tickets instead of money
then they drew numbers and you could pick
your prize from a table full of fun things...
I don't remember what I won that year
I think a beach towel.....

This year Rylan is old enough to do
the fun kid stuff
should be exciting he
loves being around other kids......
I am taking my
camera I hope to get some good pictures..

Ok so Wednesday evenings I go to support group,
I Just started going about 4 months ago
Called randy when it was over to tell him "I'm on my way home"
He says a motorcycle fell over on Rylan
I just about had a heart attack as you can imagine .....
Turns out that he and the boys went to viset a neighbor and they
have a small child's motorcycle( I haven't seen it)
THANK-GOD it was not this huge hunk of metal sitting in my
driveway that fell upon my little man,
because this kid is OBSESSED with it ..its actually one of our bribes...
Randy then tells me that he thought
Rylans HAND was probably hurt more
he stepped on it
in his race
to catch the motorcycle before falling on him,
Rylan stuck his hand right up to Randys lips for a
feel better kiss soon as randy swooped him up...
he was fine when I got home my poor baby .
I keep telling Randy to not be surprised
if he gets a call at work, that this kid
is on his way to ER I never imagined
I could be somewhere and get the call...........
I swear he is part monkey,
Lets make that deaf Monkey
cause he appanetly never hears us
