Mindi and the ER

Mindi went to the ER last night they are pretty sure she has a ulcer she will need to take 10 days off school and get into the gastros office like I have been telling her to do for a while now ...She has always had trouble with her stomach I wish I knew then what I know now I would have demanded her docs refer her to a gastro she has really suffered with her stomach her whole life ...please say some prayers that she can get this fixed up soon and feel better again !!

Kidney Failure go away

Kidney Failure go away from my Dad he has been through enough already, alrighty!!!!!!! will know the new numbers tomorrow....We are praying for low creatnee numbers in case your wondering !!!

Yesterday I went if for a touch up hair color form my Niece she is doing her Baby boards testing for her beauty license, My Grandmother was going to get a wash and set I think and my Mom is getting a pedicure, manicure and make-up done for the testing today...My other nice graduated from Veterinary school a few months ago.. Mindi is in beauty school now..two of my nephews are in the Navy and one in the Marines another nephew is a massage therapist, one is in collage to be a physical therapist ...I am very very proud of all these kids excuse me young adults ... They have dreams and are making them real and that's just awesome...

Rylan is learning to write letters of the alphabet he wrote his name 2 weeks ago and is getting pretty good at Tic tac toe with a little help...
One problem is the kid will not stay by my side in the stores and I actually lost him in big lots yesterday grrrr ..I was trying on a sweater and he zipped around the corner I told him to stop and when I got to the corner which was like 3 steps he was gone must of ran when I said stop ..I grabbed my purse out of my cart and went off hollerin for him, found him a short distance away with my Mom..... I just said "he is in trouble" and went back to get my cart with all my stuff in it and made him hold onto the car the whole rest of the time we were in the store ..I swear this kid has NO fear of getting lost from me .. Maybe he is going to be my national geographic explorer type person ...

quick update..

Andrew turned 25 yep 25 where did the years go my goodness...we celebrated at 7 Feathers one of his favorite places.. He loves the slots and the new buffet....
He also had a sleep study done and turns out he also has sleep apnea and is now on a CPAP like Randy and I...
The antibiotics were a waste of time and money $148.00 :-0
I will be seeing the pulmonoligist next week ...I am thinking of getting a referal to a cardioligist as well, WTH ehh........Oh and I also have a appointment for a rhuematoligist May 4th just in case this is auto immune... Hopefully I will be able to breath well again sometime soon ...
My Doc thinks it may be pulmonary hypertension my pressure is 34 so not real high just a bit high so it could be that..... but it also could be some else too... that's why I want to see the other specialist.. I want to make sure that what I get treated for is really whats causing my problems...
Rylan is sick right now started running a fever last night and now has a yucky cough .. and Mindi is just getting over bronchitis for the second time this winter..

A Bruno Dream

I dreamed about Bruno last night I was going to pick up his ashes... only he wasn't ashes he was a very pretty glass and etched in the glass were some of his memories they were one memory each of him with us individually and the really cool thing was if you moved the glass you would see a different memory ...and I kept asking the funeral lady why everybody didn't get these and how happy I was that I got the glass thing instead of just ashes...
The funeral lady who in my dream happens to be a family friend (Joan) was taking me home and we were following her mother and there was a tree fallen in the road, on a corner and past the corner the road was washed out and her mother was being helped out of the water by Rod, his truck had went under farther ahead ...Mindi and Andrew were toddlers and Rylan wasn't with me although his memory was eched into the glass with Bruno, which by this point had become smaller pieces so I could share them with people..... I was trying to figure out how to take the glass pieces and the kids and get us to the helicopter that was landing to rescue us then I woke up

Its been a wonderful Holiday

Its been a wonderful holiday and a busy holiday.. Andrew and Mindi stayed the night Christmas eve...we went to Randys Moms for Christmas day then to my Moms on Sunday ..There is nothing better than spending the holidays with family ...Rylan was really into Christmas this year, he loved every part, well, except maybe he didn't enjoy meeting Santa to much LOL...
Randy and I both got new cell phones its been 5 years since we have had new phones our were antiques ...
Rylan got lots of fun toys mariocart from aunt Chele~Dee and a remote control spider from mommy and daddy and play dough kitchen and clothes and a remote control helicopter and a wii hunting game with a gun he thought that was pretty cool Randy did the Christmas story stunt and his it till all the other gifts were opened.. Grandma and Grandpa Reding got him some leap frog DVDs and a little jumping spider toy..Gammy Mary and Grandpa John got him a remote control buggy car ...Mindi got him some color wonder pens and paper I can't remember what Andrew got him ...

Holy Trap...

He really liked this phrase can you tell ? Its a lovey that he heard Mindi say and he thought it had a nice ring to it LOL... I think he has forgetten it though becuase he hasn't said it since Saturday :-)

Peas and Carrots

I honestly love that me and Randy do every thing together...But I do NOT love it when he has to outdo me LOL....... Turns out his sleep apnea is worse than mine, can you believe that ...I stop breathing and average of 88 times and hour that's call my AHI ... Randy or maybe who I should call Mr. Show off has a AHI of 104 times an hour ...Yeah while I have been laying around feeling like I was on deaths door for the past 6 months ...Mr.Tough guy has been going to work 10 hours a day staying up playing his game all night on the weekends ...and never complains about being tired... Hows that for a M-A-N !!!!!
In my defense, I never complained about being tired untill I knew I had apnea... My complaints was that I just couldn't breath all summer... Today will be my first day off prenizone since a couple of days before Thanksgiving...I hope my breathing continues to be ok I am still on the advair so time will tell... I know for sure I am not as tired as I was..
This CPAP is AMAZING sure its not wonderful putting it on at night, but the way I feel during the day is so different than any way I have ever felt ...at least I really don't remember feeling this good before, except for the first 2 weeks after I had Mindi. I remember I felt really good at that time, then after we found out she was a very sick little baby the tiredness started but I had many sleepless nights either spending them in hospital waiting rooms or just worrying all night long.So I figured it was just stress, you know...
SOOOOOOOOOOOO fast forward 26 years and here I am, still tired, believing I am just a tired lazy kind of person.... I didn't realize how a person should feel and that tired like I was tired was not normal...
For heaven sakes I was gauging it somewhat against Randy and since he is worse than me I felt like we were normal LOL.. Its hard watching life go by and you think wow I would like to do that, whatever that is, and then your just to tired to follow through...Or not being able to really make plans for anything because you may be to tired when the day comes...
I am really excited to see how Randy feels in a couple of days... I really feel our lives are going to be changing so much for the better and I am excited about it ...
Did I mention that we bought a Motorhome a couple of weeks ago :-) I will post about it soon, we are really looking forward to lots of activities this summer ...

Catching up

I have been so lame about blogging I guess since I am on Facebook I keep everyone updated there and get lazy ...
I am still have some problems breathing but not as bad this past 3 or 4 weeks since I have stared Advair ...although when we went to Chinese food I did start haveing the SOB pretty bad so I am thinking maybe MSG might have some thing to do with it too...
I had a sleep study done Saturday to check for sleep apnea boy was that fun wires everywhere I didn't sleep much that night I will get the results on November 9th ... Yesterday I had a Echo done and will get the results on that November 9th too..
We went to a harvest festival 2 weeks ago it was so fun Rylan had a blast with his cousins and Gammy and Grandpa, we spent the whole day there.. Hayrides,corn maze,pony rides,eating and the grand finale of picking out pumpkin..Poor Mindi was home sick with bronchitis and at one point Rylan wanted to go play in the sandbox while we were eating and he said he would go with Mindi and I had to remind him that Mindi was home sick..She is better now but she was pretty sick I am thinking it could of even been the swine flu it was a fever that didn't come down for about 4 days ...
Lets see what else um Thats pretty much it I do plan on making a post a day in November that should be fun and get me back on track huh ...

Summer is over ...

and Fall has arrived ..brrrrr it very cold in the mornings 32 degrees cold ...The turkeys come most every day with the kitty cat stalking them the whole time and the deer has been by a few times...I am on a higher does of advair and I think its helping with my breathing a little ..had a ultrasound on my gallbladder it came back normal...Mindi's did too...... so she had a HIDA scan in showed that her gallbladder is sluggish so she is waiting to hear what the doctor says about that ....
In other big news Mindi started Beauty school this week ..I just know she is going to love it...I am very proud of her..I know how much she hated school school LOL
Rylan is potty trained for #1 he pee'd on the refrigerator yesterday. I thought it was orange juice, till I realized we don't have any orange juice LOL...He likes to pee on different stuff must be a boy thing its mostly been only outside stuff till yesterday..I told him we absolutely cannot be peeing like that in the house ..and last night he pee'd in the big potty for the first time, its so cute watching him do his little skip run to the bathroom and lift the seat ...
Last night we had a meeting at the cemetery to vote on how high of a fence we want put up at the back of the cemetery ..its going to be 5 ft ..I also Talked with Brenda L. about getting together to plant daffodils up there I have more than 60 to plant and she will have some things to.I want it to be filled with flowers every spring right now there are a few here and there that different family have planted on the graves....
When I told Rylan we were going to the cemetery for a meeting he said "bad guys are there" he probably seen that on a cartoon or something ..But he had a great time playing on the steps there and one of the neighbor dogs came over and Rylan had a blast playing with her..So I don't think he thinks there are bad guys there anymore :-)

I am not sure if I mentioned here that Rylan had to get another u/s on his kidneys but he did since we have been home from Portland came back 100% normal whoohooo...

Mindi's U/S alos came back normal but this is not a whoohoo because now she has to get the dye test she is getting it the 21st hopefully it will give her/us some answers ....

I have really fallen off my blogging and am going to try to get better with it...I will be going in to have a sleep study done soon, because Randy says I quit breathing when I sleep and with my other breathing problems... I think I should make sure I am breathing good at night...I am also going to be seeing a pulmuoligist because my breathing is still not real great, its lots better than it was, but still not normal I will find out times for both theses things next week my doctors are making the appointments for me ....

Please say a little prayer for Mindi she is getting a ultrasound on her gall bladder ...Due to having sever pains after she eats ..She really has been having this problem for years and I and she have always told the doctors but always get poopoo'd... finally her doc is listening and going to find the problem ...so she will be getting her ultrasound on Wednesday ...

Funny little gard~nee boy

Mindi came and spent the day with us today ...When it was time to fix dinner I told Rylan we need to go pick some tomatoes and crookneck squash for dinner..Off he ran.... and before I was hardly out the door he was in the garden and had picked two perfect red tomatoes and some peppers for as he said "daddy's lunch"

Mindi brought over a piggy bank for Rylan to paint they were having a great time painting and Rylan out of the blue looks at Minii and say's "I love you Mindi" It was so sweet ..Then about a half an hour later, out of the blue he told her it was time for her to leave..... OMG this kid cracks us up !!!!

Taking over Randys computer .. and Kung Fu!!

My laptop is not the same since I tried to reset it back to factory settings ...so I am getting everything set up on Randys computer... I hate being stuck back in the office although I do have beautiful views from here ...
I am asking for a laptop for my birthday this year... I still want a wii so I think i am going to ask for that too, Hey why not LOL..

Rylan started kung fu last week My friend Joannas son is taking it and she thought Rylan might like it too and boy does he ..
he is a natural at it ...It will be on Fridays... Mindi came and took pictures for us but they are kind of blurry because we were so far away from her we will take the good camera next week ...When we got home Randy told me that he was 1st place northwest Judo champ one time how I never knew this, I don't know, he probably told me but I didn't remember....He was a 3rd degree brown belt ..I will have to ask him how old he was !!! ''maybe I should start paying more attention when he tells me stuff'' I can tell you he is loving that I just came out with that statement LMAO anyways things are good here...

Mommy ran rag~ged ...

Poor Mindi ...She calls at 8:30 pm last night and after a day of running around with Rylan I am just not much of a conversationalist in the evenings LOL.....
By 5 pm when Randy gets home I am ready to collapse in a chair or on the couch for the night.... To be perfectly honest I would be happy to get to bed by 7 pm LOL.....
I have always been a go to bed early and get up early girl ..It started with my mom who put us to bed as soon as the sun went down LOL .... It seems that Rylan has got the Miss Mindi sleep gene he likes to stay up late and sleep in in the mornings, which hasn't boded well for me...
Now days I stay up late but I still get up at around 6 am... Rylan gets up about 9 am and from 9 am till bedtime {{anywhere from 9 pm to 11pm usually 11pm}} its go go go.... Its fun go, but still tiring LOL .. I love You Mindi :-*

Well baby check today

Rylan has his well baby check up today for being 3 years old Then we are off to bi-mart for a few things ...Mindi is on her way to Utah to visit her cousin Jessica they have always spent a few weeks together every summer since Mindi had been about oh 8 or 9 years old maybe younger ... I know she wil have a great time I am glad she is getting away for a while ...Things kind of feel caught up here so I am feeling more relaxed... getting good news at Mindis appointment in Portland has help a ton and Rylan has been having a eye issue that was worrying me but it seems to have resolved itself.. Thank-God.. I just don't function well when I have extra worries about the kids... I will post about our trip soon ...

Happy 26th Birthday Mindi..

This is just to say how happy I am and how lucky I feel to have you for a daughter. The day I first held you in my arms, you put an eternal hold on my heart... and the passing years have only increased my love for you.
You've become a woman who is more wonderful than could of ever imagined.. I am thankful everyday and very proud that you are my daughter (yes even when we fight) You will always and forever be my baby girl... I love you !!!

Allergies

Nope not me !!! Mindi that's what the doc said the other day...After her appointment we ran over to rite-aid and she bought some zertec... it knocked her out for the night, probably first good nights sleep she has had in a while due to the allergy's, she is feeling much much better ..
Randy and I lucked out, we don't have allergies other than him being deathly allergic ether which they don't use nowdays, he almost died when he was little when they tried to take his tonsils out, he even had a out of body experience...I am allergic to sulfa antibiotics and I guess a lot of other people are too ..we also don't get poison oak.. It will be interesting to see if Rylan has allergies... Poor Mindi and Andrew both get poison oak.....When they were little and first got it I had no idea what it was until I took them to the doctors, it sure looked itchy and painful...

I will be going back to get my tooth crown AGAIN on June 2nd the dentist accidentally ground a hold right through this new one I am so bummed out... Oh well I am enjoying the feel of gold in my mouth for now rather than that rough temp one I have had for the past 3 weeks I have to get a whole new mold and temporary.

Get-up Mommy, Get -up

That what I awoke to hear this morning....Now Rylan is watching scooby-doo and the pirates something or other.... I am thinking of making myself some bacon, toast and orange juice ...That what I have eaten the next morning after having all my babies starting with Mindi I think it would be a nice Mothers Day tradition for me to start.. Plus I am hungry...
My camera will cost $131.00 to fix... I can't wait to get it back, I really miss it I didn't realize how often I was out taking pictures with it, I feel naked outside without it dangling from my neck!!

I am still worried about this swine flu.. I just read this morning that a Washington man in his 30s died from it at least they are pretty sure he had the swine flu guess we will find out in a few days, he had heart problems, great just what I needed to hear to start the week off ...I gave Mindi some hand sanitizer but she is sick with a sinus thing and is going to have to go to the doctors tomorrow...I hate going into germ infested doctors offices...

The appointment has been booked

For June 16th
Mindi has a appointment up at OHSU... The first place I called was pediatrics and the woman remembered Mindi and is going to let Mindi's pediatric cardiologist know whats going on... She then told me who would be the best doctor there for what we need so I called and made the appointment he has studied Adult Congenital Heart Program he is the director of it and he has studied something called Eisenmenger's syndrome while I am not sure that Mindi has that her finger do not look like those she did have a VSD closed when she was a baby and it at least shows that he knows quite a bit about pulmonary hypertension...
Hopefully her medical card will cover it... if not we will pay cash for the first visit and then we will go from there... I think her OHP may not want to pay for an appointment this soon after she just seen the cardiologist down here the other day...
