Motel or Hotel thats the question ..

Whats better? Is there really any difference?? Its that time of year again, when we have to travel to Portland for Rylan to get his yearly VCUG and I must say we are not looking forward to it...
How do you explain to a almost 3 year old that some lady is going to put a tube up his peedle fill his bladder with dye AND he has to lay still for it ugggg not fun, not fun at all... I have told him a couple of times that he will be getting it done but I am not sure he knows what I am talking about ... Keep you fingers crossed and say a prayer that he has grown out of his kidney reflux and will not need surgery..
Anyways I am now searching for our motel/hotel I have saved $200.00 for our trip to the docs, not even sure that will be enough :-/ it will be at least $100.00 just for the room not counting gas and food ... His appointment is at 8 am on March 6th they only do these tests at 8 am, so there is now way to just drive up for the test and then come home its a 5 hour drive from our house we would have to leave at 3am and it would just be too much for the little guy ....
