Spent the weekend cleaning up the yard...... It was a beautiful weekend to do so...
We trimmed branches from around the creek and pond and burned them today..
Yesterday it was a pile of old steps from our shed that we burned ..
Part of the steps was from when I was pregnant with Rylan James. our bed is pretty high off the ground, so Randy made me a step with carpet on it so I wouldn't have to strain at all getting into bed ...
here some picture of the little guy today while burning I wish that my batteries were charged up yesterday for pictures, he had such a great time and was so so dirty his little toes were black as well as his face ..
he is pretty cute in these from today just not as dirty :-)
"Cheese"..

Here are some pics of the pond full of the branches we trimmed yesterday and then after we were done burning........ Oh and this creek dries up in the summer...It runs from November till July and yes the salmon do spawn here, I always look forward to spotting the huge salmons every winter and then watching the baby fish jumping for bugs in the spring

And this is what our house looks like from the pond The window in the center is my kitchen window..maybe that why I don't mind doing the dishes by hand I have such a beautiful view to look at it will be lots better once the pond fills in with water Then I will get to watch the wild ducks and look for salmon..

I love seeing these new angles of your house and yard! I would love to look out my window and see ducks and salmon! Do you try to catch them? Rylan is cuter than ever! He's so big!
I can see we weren't the only ones outside this weekend working our buns off. Great pics! LMAO - I used to have lake views of ducks etc. but it still wasn't enough to inspire me to do the dishes by hand.
No we don't try to catch them. I guess if we got hungry enough we would :-) they spawn right where it would be easy to pick one up... the creek is only about 4or 5 feet wide..
ROTFLMAOA Chele ...I really am enjoying doing the dishes by hand..Its instant gratification for me plus i hate the smell of dishwasher soap:-) I have used the dishwasher 3 or 4 times in the past month so I am not totally against it ...
