Da.ve Rams.ey talks about Murphy in his book as in Murphys law....and Murphy has been hanging around just a little too often... Since I have started the plan I am still on baby step one which is save $1000.00 for emergencies and I am up to a whopping $30.00 ..Yes you read that right THIRTY BUCKS....
Just the day before yesterday we took the car in for a oil change/ transmission flush um-hmmm you guessed it we also needed new brakes AND rotors so the bill came to $430.00... The good thing is that the small amounts I am able to put back each payday is helping.. I haven't had to put anything on the credit cards and we are still current on all out bills and we have tons of food... So its not all bad just frustrating...... I really don't think much will get put away in December so I am looking forward to January to start getting my plan back into action .....

Baby steps are great and you are still moving forward rather than backwards. Anytime you aren't charging something you are staying ahead.
