This is another blog I just read this morning

I tell ya the USA is in a sad state of affairs... I mean I am the most un-political person in the world and its getting me involved... I am defiantly taking notes........ I never really thought that my opinion would matter too much, you know the "smart ones" voted in office know how to make the decisions, but am now realizing how flawed my thinking has been..... Its time we need to stand together and make a REAL CHANGE...

Thanks for the shout out!

Hey, if you're poor and already in the system you will benefit immediately from the stimulus package because you get more money from those subsidies, limit for paying taxes raises, and those tax credits you can claim just went up netting you a nice bonuse tax return for years to come. Got to love it, pay NO TAXES and get thousand plus $$$$ refunds from the tax credits alone.

And this is CHANGE? How exactly?

There is a method to their madness. Not being judgmental here...just stating the obvious. If you are poor and someone hands you a lump sum of cash, you typically go out and spend it on something you have not been able to afford before.

If you are in the middle class and working, from what I see, you will not get a lump sum amount of any type and the average worker will see $7.70 more in the paycheck because of a change in withholding rates. So where will you spend your whopping $7.70 per week? For most Americans it will go to paying down credit cards, buying groceries or into the gas tank. So how does that help the industries most at risk right now.

I admit I don't have the answers, but I sure cannt see that what is being voted into existence right now is.
