So I called to make the appointment for Rylans last test to make sure his kidney haven’t been damaged and find out that he is really going to be getting two more tests a ultrasound and a test called DMSA , so I am like alright who do I call to get the test and I start calling around to get his appointment in August….
Let me backtrack here for a moments My friend Kara from Washington is planning a vacation here in Oregon so we thought wow, I could plan Rylans tests around her trip and Randy, Rylan and I will camp down the road from where she is staying for a few day and we can hang out she has a little girl a month younger than Rylan and has a baby on the way now, We met online she has also suffered two 2nd trimester losses we met shortly after I lost the girls …
Her family will be renting a condo on the beach with a Jacuzzi, how luxurious is that..
We will be tent camping down the road at a local state park. I refuse to tent camp anywhere without flush toilets and showers LOL….
Its been years since we have tent camped…Every since we bought the cabin and every night and day was like camping for 5 years and we have been in this house for 9 years so it has been about 14 years since we have camped at all I am thinking it will be pretty fun with Rylan …
Mindi always hated camping, even when we had a camper... About six months ago she informed me that she tried to make camping as miserable for me as she could ….So while I was trying extra hard to make it fun and exciting she was trying just as hard to make it miserable so we wouldn’t go anymore, isn’t that just delightful LOL… ahhhhh the joys of parenthood….
Back to the tests Rylan will be having.. The one called the DMSA is going to be a real pain in the arse
here is the itinerary
Monday Drive up to Portland
Leaving at about 7 am
after our 4 hour drive
spend the day at the zoo
then stay the night at the same holiday inn as last time
get up about 6 am get to the hospital at 7:30 am for numbing cream
at 8:30 am he will get an IV with radio active dye
then we have to find something to do for 4 hours because the dye has to travel to his kidneys
and because he will be sedated for his test at 12:30 in the afternoon he can’t have anything to eat or drink that whole time ughhhh
then the test should take 2 hours
Then we will be off to Newport for our camping trip for 4 days
The ultrasound will be done here in our home town because it would just be to hard to coordinate in with his other test . He will be radio active for 24 house after his DMSA and they don’t want to risk him being around a pregnant or breastfeeding u/s tech
So that’s the latest ….

that's great that you're going to meet your friend too! but boy i don't envy the camping LOL.
i remember telling you that at the party. now i feel bad hahahaha. i really did hate camping though lol.
LMAO at Mindi making camping even more miserable. I HATE CAMPING and will not under any circumstances. lol!
Sounds like a whirlwind of activities in August. I hope the test isn't too bad and you have fun catching up with your friends.
Mindi yes this is the original test I had no idea it would be so involved....
Chele how on earth do you get out of it living with 3 guys???
