another Flu website

Looking at the CDC website this am and there does not seem to be many more cases here is a screen shot of the list from this morning

and here is a link for a page with a interactive map MAP

Red Cross

I may wonder out today and buy supplies I was reading the CDC site and it say's this

Develop a family emergency plan as a precaution. This should include storing a supply of food, medicines, facemasks, alcohol-based hand rubs and other essential supplies.

So it would be better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it and be too worried to go out and get it.......

I guess I worry extra because Rylan is little and I have been trained to worry about bugs with Mindi first and then with Rylan.... I must say though I worry about Andrew now, I am not so sure he is made to wash his hands there as much as he was here, and the other boys are still in school so they could bring it home... I think I will call him today and tell him I want him to wash his hands alot ...Mindi is already a hand washer thanks to me :-)
Before you all think I am a nutso remember this blog is something I am saving for my kids and future grandchildren and am pretty much putting down my thoughts of this whole flu thing for them, so they can think I am nutso :-)

One more thing to think about ok TWO more things, our wal-mart is right off the freeway that goes straight from Mexico to Canada so we won't be getting any of our supplies there and also think about your mail and how many dirty little hands have touched it before it has arrived at your home ...I ALWAYS wash my hands after handling the mail....
Its a time like this that I miss having live TV ughh...

You have to do what brings you peace. I haven't reached the point where I'm all that concerned yet. I think a lot of this is media hype like when SARS was prevalent. Thousands of people die every year from the regular flu viruses but it isn't reported.

Granted the world is way over due for a Pandemic but I'm not yet concerned about this one. We have everything on hand except masks and by the time we would need them we'd all be infected anyway.

Hoping you and yours stay FLU free.
